On February 2, 2025, the NZZ am Sonntag had a report about Paul McCartney’s daughter because she rejected leather and fur as a fashion designer back in the 1990s. The letter to the editor about this was printed in yesterday’s edition.

It’s great that Paul McCartney’s daughter recognized back in the 1990s that fur and leather in fashion are simply unfair and cruel to animals. Many people are against fur, but most people don’t know that in most cases animals are bred specifically for leather, reared in extremely poor conditions and killed young. Thanks to McCartney, people today hopefully avoid both animal products out of compassion for the suffering animals…
